Komplot invited three Biel-based artists, Léolie Greet, Maya Hottarek and Gil Pellaton, to take part in SECOND IMPRESSIONS, which will run from 14 September to 20
October 2024. The exhibition in Brussels will focus on the themes of narrative, script and everyday life.
About SECOND IMPRESSIONS
On the occasion of a research trip in October 2023, the two curator-directors of KRONE COURONNE, a space for contemporary art in Biel/Bienne (CH), travelled throughout Brussels and Wallonia to discover a thriving
art scene and meet numerous artists. Biel and Brussels share a similar spirit, whether through their bilingualism or their industrial past, where strong cultural scenes have developed over the years. FIRST IMPRESSIONS, which ran from 15 March to 20 April 2024 at KRONE COURONNE in Biel, was the result of these encounters. Already a partner in the first iteration, KOMPLOT travelled to Biel in April 2024 to continue this collaboration and to discover the local artistic and cultural ecosystem. Following on from these rich exchanges, KOMPLOT invited three Biel-based artists, Léolie Greet, Maya Hottarek and Gil Pellaton, to take part in SECOND IMPRESSIONS, which will run from 14 September to 20
